7,400 km to the limit: One race. One film. One good cause.

This is Hannes.
Passionate about sports. Determined. And ready for the challenge of a lifetime.

This year, the Berlin-based athlete is taking on an extraordinary challenge: an ultra-distance cycling race covering 7,400 kilometers from the North Cape to Tarifa. Once across Europe. Thousands of kilometers. Alone. Driven by endurance, focus, and the belief that something great can be achieved step by step.

The NorthCape–Tarifa cycling adventure has been held regularly since 2018, with around 50 participants each year. Every athlete is completely on their own. As the organizer’s website states:
“Be prepared for everything. Cold and rain in the north, snow in the mountains, heat in the southern regions – or even in the mountains.”

This is Hannes.

Why is Hannes doing this?

Of course, he wants to challenge himself, push his limits, and grow beyond them. But this journey is about more than just athletic ambition.

Hannes is also riding for HITA e.V.

The fact that he chose our organization among so many charities deeply touches and motivates us. His race therefore becomes more than a personal adventure – it is also a fundraising campaign supporting our projects.

We are cheering Hannes on, wishing him the very best of luck, and looking forward to sharing exciting insights from this extraordinary journey.

Taking part in this race requires enormous organizational and financial effort. For the race itself, safety equipment, and documenting the journey, Hannes is raising donations. The special part: through this campaign he is also supporting the projects of HITA e.V.
