HITA PC Laboratories

The activities of HITA e.V. began more than 10 years ago with the “HITA PC Labs” program. E-learning is – in very simplified terms – the support of teaching/learning processes through digital media and tools. Especially in developing and emerging countries, the risk of the “digital divide” is omnipresent and particularly dramatic. The mission of HITA e.V. is therefore to support the education of pupils and students in Africa with modern information technologies. To this end, HITA e.V. has now set up 25 PC labs, so-called “computer labs” with more than 1,200 PCs in training centers for nurses and midwives and in secondary schools throughout Ghana.
