HITA receives award together with Carlo Mierendorff School
Hessian Environmental School Award Ceremony - On October 22, the award ceremony for the schools that were awarded the title "Hessian Environmental Schools" for the school years 2017/18 and 2018/19 took place in Großkrotzenburg. The joint project of the Carlo-Mierendorff-Schule (CMS) from Frankfurt with HITA won a prize, which was awarded to representatives of CMS and HITA by Ms. Beatrix Tappeser, State Secretary of the Hessian Ministry for the Environment, Climate Protection, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (HMUKLV) and by Mr. Jörg Meyer-Scholten, Ministerialdirigent of the Hessian Ministry of Culture (HKM). Teachers and HITA members Petra Knott and Rachida Aouad were on site as project coordinators of the Carlo Mierendorff School with two students from the sixth grade, as well as Daniel Gerlach as a representative of HITA. With joy and pride in the accomplished and honored collaborative work, the five were able to accept the award. In addition, the team provided information to other interested visitors with a booth and three billboards.
