Highlights
A total of 140 PCs were installed in four high schools in the Volta region.
Among them were two all-girls schools.
Project goal
Engaging students earlier in new learning opportunities.
Overview
In various local projects, the technical prerequisites are to be created to familiarize students with the possibilities of digitally supported learning at an early stage.
Together with the local technical experts, a robust IT infrastructure is set up that can also be maintained and serviced by the local IT specialists - usually teachers.

Tasks:
1. reconnaissance of the sites 2. conception, provision and implementation of the technical infrastructure 3. conducting a fundraising campaign in Germany to raise the necessary technology and funds. 4. setting up and testing the system and server architecture in Germany 5. development of a train-the-trainer concept for the training of multipliers in order to enable a sustainable continuation. 6. installation on site 7. training of technicians as well as teachers on site 8. technical and organizational administration of the labs 9. project and process support, e.g. through monitoring, evaluation and various consulting services 10. quality assurance measures to guarantee the long-term function of the LabsEmployees:
