Donation to Solid Rock Association!

During the stay of HITA representative Günther Michels a computer was handed over to the Solid Rock Association. This should also be the first step for a possible future cooperation. The Solid Rock Association is an NGO that operates primarily in the poor neighborhoods in and around Accra. One of their centers is located in the middle of the slum behind the Center for National Art and Culture. Volunteers try to provide a fallback point to get kids off the streets. In the clubhouse people play, dance and make music. Through artistic activities and appropriate teaching, the children should be enabled to discover and recognize their own creativity, to grasp their own creative powers and thus offer new perspectives for the future. In addition, more advanced topics such as mathematics, English, geography, or working with computers are incorporated.
