Farming project at Ve Deme orphanage!
Ve Deme Orphanage in the Volta Region started with a project to farm and grow its own food for the facility. One goal is to be able to function and act more and more independently and self-sufficiently. If the children grow their own food, additional money is saved and more children in total can be provided with meals at the facility and thus be accommodated. The leader Emmanuel Annabi wrote a letter with a request for support for this project. At the end of the article is the necessary information to contact the orphanage and provide direct support.
Emmanuel Annabi: "I hope you are all well. We have now finally received new mattresses. That's great. Now we are starting to cultivate the surrounding land a little more with arable farming. We need financial support to be able to carry this out and ultimately provide for ourselves more independently. We have to pay a rent for the land, we need fertilizer, tools, seeds, plants and also have to pay workers to do the rest. The children should be in school. We are looking for supporters to help us here so that we can move forward in our project. Thank you and God be with you."
