Two proposals for Horizon 2020
As previously announced, we have submitted 2 applications under the HORIZON 2020 research program of the European Community(https://ec.europa.eu/programmes/horizon2020/ ). Together with international partners from 5 countries, we have taken up two topics: firstly, in the area of "Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases (GACD) prevention and management of mental disorders", the so-called "chain people", mentally ill people who receive little or no attention in African societies. These chain people are often still chained instead of receiving proper professional treatment. In this application, we seek to explore the use of information and communication technologies in the context of implementing improved training for "front-line health workers" in this field. On the other hand, in the area of "Information and Technology", we have submitted a motion proposing "smart solutions for education in low-income countries". In this call, we are trying to build campus WLANs in a total of 20 training facilities using modern IC technologies.
